Together, we represent one third of European forests and employ over 110.000 people. You will find on this site a paper about EUSTAFOR common strategy which is the basis of our action and discussions with EU institutions and other European stakeholders. Currently our priorities are forests in the Kyoto protocol, bio-mass and renewable energy, forest technology platform and sustainable wood production. Two working groups meet specially on Kyoto protocol and bio-mass issues. EUSTAFOR has just settled down in the European Forestry House together with other EU forestry organisations. This web-site will enable you to learn more about EUSTAFOR initiatives and state forest management in Europe.
