As from 1 January, Naturupplevelser Viska is leasing the small-game hunting rights at Käringberget Ecopark from Sveaskog. This will allow this locally based tourism company to develop its activities.
Käringberget Ecopark lies in Ångermanland county in the province of Västerbotten. Through cooperation with Sveaskog, Naturupplevelser Viska, which works with hunting and fishing tourism, can continue to expand its range of activities. Hunting guests can hunt game birds and beaver, among other game.
The company, which also runs a campsite and a restaurant in Fredrika, is already well established, with many customers from, among other areas, southern Europe, but there is space enough for more.
Naturupplevelser Viska runs its operations on a small scale basis, ensuring that each guest experiences personal, high quality service.
"We at Sveaskog are very pleased to be working with a company such as Viska with respect to small game hunting in the eco-park. It's a local company with broad experience and a well established contact network in Europe. The operation is also a good complement to other enterprises in the area, such as the fishing in the river Lögdeälven, which is operated by Älgfarmen in Bjurholm," says Eva Jörgensen, leasing manager for companies and fishing rights in Västerbotten.
