Landesforst Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

In 2006, the Landesforst Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (MV) was founded as a public regulatory body managing forest operations and services as an integral part of the state’s economy as well as governing the administration of sovereign activities such as ecosystem protection and conservation. With several forestry district offices across the state, the Landesforst MV is the first local contact for citizens, private forest owners, and clients providing answers with regards to environment and forestry. The Landesforst MV is committed to the principles of responsible stewardship and sustainable forest management which is designed to provide ecological, economic, social and cultural opportunities for the benefit of present and future generations.
