Natural Resources Wales

Formed from the amalgamation of the Forestry Commission, The Countryside Council for Wales and the Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales purpose is to ensure that the natural resources of Wales are sustainably maintained, enhanced and used, now and in the future. Funded by the Welsh Government as an arms length organisation, we are their Statutory Advisor on nature conservation and the Environmental Regulator for Wales. Natural Resources Wales also provides flood risk management services and manages the public forest estat.
